Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY). The Caregiving Youth Project (CYP), an AACY program in partnership with the School District of Palm Beach County, supports students who balance school while also providing care for a chronically ill, injured, disabled, or aging family member. Volunteers help CYP through supporting events, activities, tutoring, outreach, office assistance, and more, making a positive impact in the lives of students who are also caregivers. There are plenty of interesting and fun opportunities to get involved, and every contribution makes a difference.
For more information about AACY and volunteer opportunities, contact James Sturges, Volunteer Manager, at james@aacy.org or visit www.aacy.org/volunteer.
We’re so grateful that you’ve taken the time to complete the AACY Caregiving Youth Project Volunteer Application. By filling out this form, you are taking the first step in making a meaningful difference for students who are caring for a family member.
Your application helps us learn more about you so we can connect you with the volunteer opportunities that best match your skills and interests. Once you submit, we’ll follow up with next steps, which may include a short interview call, background screening, and training.
Thank you for your willingness to share your time, energy, and care with the youth we serve. Together, we can make sure no Caregiving Youth feels alone.
