Arlene Herson is an active member of the Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton and many other local charities. She is an Ambassador of the Arts at the College of Arts and Letters at FAU, a sponsor of Jan McArt’s Live at Lynn Series and honorary Chair of Boca Ballet Theatre’s “Princely Affair.” Arlene has served on many boards including the Boca Raton Historical Society, The Palm Beach International Film Festival and the Miami City Ballet. Arlene was appointed by President George W. Bush to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Council, the governing body of the Museum in Washington, DC. She is the producer and host of the award winning cable television program “The Arlene Herson Show,” and has won awards for the best talk show on cable television in New York and New Jersey. She was nominated for a CableAce Award for the best talk show nationwide (CableAce Awards are the Academy Awards of Cable Television.) Arlene has interviewed hundreds of celebrities on radio and television including, Tony Bennett, Paul Anka, Sammy Davis, Jr., Robert Goulet, Debbie Reynolds, Placido Domingo, Perry Como, Chuck Norris, Don King and Suzanne Sommers, just to name a few.
