A Benefit for Caregiving Youth

Join us for AACY Hearts & “Soles” Sneaker Ball, a Benefit at a moment of real consequence for children and teens served by AACY’s Caregiving Youth Project (CYP).

Currently, the CYP supports more than 700 middle and high school students in Palm Beach County who provide daily care to chronically ill, disabled, and/or frail elderly family members, while striving to stay in school and build a future. These students rely on the CYP team for academic support, respite, mentoring, and emotional care. These services are essential.

As we enter our 20th year of service, AACY is responsible for supporting over 3,000 Caregiving Youth, resulting in a 98% graduation rate. Today, the CYP is under immediate financial strain.

Without timely and significant donor support, the entire program could be reduced or lost, putting the services these students depend on to stay in school, succeed academically, and care for their families at serious risk.

This year’s Hearts & “Soles” Sneaker Ball Benefit is more than a celebration. It is a critical intervention. Funds raised through attendance, sponsorship, and philanthropic leadership directly sustain the support and services that help Caregiving Youth at school and at home.
