Open House – Meet the AACY Staff
Join us for an inspiring evening with light bites, raffles, and the chance to learn more about AACY and the incredible Caregiving Youth we support.
We are especially thankful that this documentary shines a light on the lives of more than 5.4 million Caregiving Youth, young people under 18 who provide care for a family member with a chronic illness, disability, mental health condition, or age-related issue.
At AACY, we are honored to be part of this national effort to raise awareness about caregivers of all ages. As a national outreach and engagement partner, we are proud to stand alongside so many dedicated organizations working to support caregivers. We are also grateful that research from the Caregiving Youth Research Collaborative (CYRC) was used to help inform this important project, helping to ensure that the voices and experiences of Caregiving Youth are better understood and valued.
We hope you will join us to celebrate this powerful documentary and the meaningful inclusion of Caregiving Youth in a project of this scale.
