AACY Caregiving Youth Institute and UNC-Chapel Hill Commemorate Successful Research Project
The AACY Caregiving Youth Institute and UNC-Chapel Hill collaborated on a remarkable project involving 40 AACY Caregiving Youth Project students. These students have created extraordinary maps depicting their daily caregiving responsibilities during the years 2022 and 2023. We greatly appreciate their participation – this is an important step forward in further understanding and supporting Caregiving Youth in the United States.
To commemorate the project’s completion, we will be hosting an Appreciation Dinner sponsored by Dr. Betsy and Leiha from UNC. The event, scheduled for June 13, 2023, will feature an awards ceremony and a showcase of the maps created by the participants. All participants and their families have been notified of this event through their AACY CYP Family Specialist.
