Caregiving Youth Survey – U.S. Government Accountability Office

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has completed its data collection for the Caregiving Youth Survey. This survey, presented in Spring 2024, was designed to capture the experiences of young adults aged 18-25 who provided care for family members in their youth, and it has now concluded.

The insights gathered from this initiative are poised to influence future policies and support mechanisms for young caregivers across the nation. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this important effort.
