Hearts and Soles Brochure and Photos now available here!

The American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) is pleased to announce that CBS 12 Anchor/Reporter, Michele Wright, will emcee the organization’s Hearts & “Soles” Fundraising Dinner event, on Tuesday, February 28, 2013 (Click here for details).

AACY is proud to announce its successful vetting and selection by Extraordinary Charities in its inaugural directory publication of 51 nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County. The directory is distributed and provided free of charge as a public service to AACY and others.  Its intent is to pair donors with local organizations that have budgets of not more than $3 million that may not be otherwise known and thus overlooked. The selection of AACY was made by an independent volunteer review panel with criteria of impact, accomplishment, sustainability, financial transparency and uniqueness. Landmark Decision by School District

The Palm Beach County School District let us know that we have approval to award Caregiving Youth Project students with Community Service Hours.   Hours will be calculated and awarded based on the kids Level of Responsibility.

We regard this, on behalf of the students, a Landmark Decision!  It gives them validation and recognition for the work they are doing and helps to level the playing field for them.  More details when they become available.
